MobilizeThis 2008 - Casuarina Campus, Charles Darwin University, Darwin
22-24 October 2008
This the third year of MobilizeThis. It started out in Byron Bay, NSW with e-learning enthusiasts Bill Wade, Robyn Jay, Alexander Hayes and Stephen Ridgway. They had an idea to have an open and very flexible conference where presenters wanting to share something innovative they are been using to teach/train young people could join in without a lot of lead in time.
Bill Wade, Charles Darwin University, has been involved in the coordination of the event for the past three years. Bill is keen to see a continuation of the discourse between young people to ensure that technologies are appropriate and working for them. This year will include an awesome array of conversations, opinions and intersection of ideas from around the globe on a variety of themes.
